About JTS Napoleonic Battles

The Napoleonic Battles series of PC wargames by John Tiller is a hex-based, turn-based isometric and 2D series of wargames simulating battles large and small from the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Starting a release portraying the battles around Eckmuhl in 1809, the series has grown to include almost every campaign and battle from Valmy to Waterloo.

The game's scale is 100m per hex, time scale varies between 15 and 10 minutes per turn, and units represent infantry battalions, cavalry squadrons, artillery batteries and individual brigade, division, corps, wing and army generals.

Each game includes a scenario editor, allowing user-created scenarios on the maps provided. Instructions are also available for the editing of order of battle (.oob) files and parameter data (.pdt) files.
